Paragraph Patterns

ocate and analyze a paragraph from the Internet. The paragraph can be from a website, article, blog, or another source as long as it is appropriate, has a minimum of five or six sentences, and contains a topic sentence.

To analyze the paragraph you have chosen, follow these instructions:

1. Post the paragraph to this discussion.
2. List the author and source of your selection.
3. Identify the dominant paragraph pattern.
4. Explain why it fits the selected paragraph pattern.
5. Explain each of the four bases of effective writing and how the paragraph has or has not met each.
