Applying the initial elements of the Problem-Solving Process to a research article Find any research article that relates to aviation or aerospace from a scholarly journal. After reading it, following the information in the Problem-Solving Process instruction ( Attached), develop a Problem Statement, Purpose/Goal Statement, and a Research Question (as if you were writing the article yourself). You may comment on your impression of the author’s stated problem, stated goals, and research question or hypotheses that you find. If you need additional resources, seek them out using the Internet or ask your classmates using the Student Lounge.
Format your document per APA standards and include the following in your document:
- Article Summary: 2-3 paragraphs summarizing the article
- Problem Statement: 1-2 sentences that explicitly state the problem from the article in your own words
- Intent/Goal Statement: 1-2 sentences that explicitly state the intent/goal of the research from the article in your own words
- Research Question: 1 research question related to the research problem from the article in your own words
- Closing Remarks (optional): no more than 1 paragraph of additional reflective thoughts on the assignment if you choose
- APA-formatted references
