Set up an interview (over the phone or in person) with a company CIO or MIS Director/Manager . Based on what we have covered during the Management information systems course, construct a short list of questions to ask. The goal is to understand and appreciate the challenges faced by the CIO or MIS Director/Manager in delivering the IT infrastructure/Services to accomplish business objectives. Write an essay of 1000-1500 words double spaced reflecting on what you learned from the interview paying particular attention to the balance of business needs vs. the IT challenges. After reflection include some thinking about what you recommend as priorities going forward. Cite any references you use at the end of the paper along with your list of questions. Please identify who you interviewed and include either basic company information or a company web site.
