Roman Architecture

After watching the video: Engineering an Empire answer the following prompt:

• name and explain 3 major technological advances the Romans made to architecture and the effect those advances had on civilization.
• name and explain at least 3 major structures the Romans built. What purpose did those structures fulfill?
• Compare one major Roman structure to one famous Greek structure. How are they similar, and more importantly, how are they different?
