How to respond to a students response

As Christians it’s important we continue to seek the truth through the word of God. (Matthew 7:7) states ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you. Thisscripture means to research to me. If we plan to be closer to God, we must seek truth. It is in Him we will find the solutions to what we prayed about. When we study God’s word for better understanding and clarity in our life it will take a lot of work.

What I mean is when we are seeking truth it takes discipline. With all the daily distractions in our workplace and duties at home, you must really dial. Parrot (2009) states without accountability, we all tend to drift towards mediocrity in our performance, and too often, sinful nature takes advantage of gaps accountability. We must put in the work to reap the rewards.

Putting in the work is key to finding the truth in whatever you. (2 Timothy 2:15)says study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth. Showing thyself approved is pleasing to God. He wants to reveal the secret hidden treasures to us but being diligent in our research of truth. Baldwin, Bommer, and Rubin (2013) indicated ethical commitment refers to your level of dedication or desire to do what is right even in the face potentially harmful personal repercussions. We must give of ourselves in order to receive.
