I believe it is indeed possible to improve our abilities on remembering what we read. This chapter listed some great techniques on retaining information. Some which honestly are simple but when obstacles are thrown our way, time and concentration can get away from us. I especially enjoyed reading the portion that covered evaluating. It made me challenge myself for understanding and urged me reread the chapter for clarity.
