Building a Positive Human Factors Culture by Considering Team Performance in Aviation

For this activity, you will identify a real-world example of a failure where team-based human factors contributed to an aviation mishap. 

Begin your presentation by defining human factors as it relates to aviation. Once you identify the real-world failure example, you will assume the role of a new manager in the aviation industry charged with correcting the previously identified team-based human factors error. You will prepare a presentation that outlines your plan to establish and maintain a positive human factors culture within your organization. Be sure to highlight the challenges of working in teams in the aviation industry. Define and consider the role of pilots, mechanics, and managers in your presentation.
