Write an Outline and Rough Draft for your Essay #1, including six quotations with page citation. Remember to write a thesis that directly answers the following question in three parts: Gracie is a wise woman. How does she try to spare (be gentle with, or protect) Traynor’s feelings? (You can quote and then interpret/explain her speech, for example). Why does she do this? [Make sure you answer the second question too!]

Be sure to quote correctly! One sentence each will be enough for the introduction and conclusion in the Outline; the Rough draft needs more, to be discussed
