    Purposes of the articles

    The article what employees perceive as hindrance or challenges stressors in hotel industry describes the correlation between stressors and turnover intentions and the factors that can be employed to quash the problems that employees face (Kang, & Jang, 2019). In the article efficacy of the theory of communication competence and personality traits in predicting tour guides’ income outlines how communication competences and personality impact poor performances (Al Jahwari, et. al, 2017).

    Finding of the study

    The data obtained from the articles outlined that in the hospitality sector, employees were faced with various challenges, varying depending on the complexity of the hotel business. These challenges include work overload, continuous work engagement and work ambiguity as potential sources of stress for them. The workers carried out their duties with uncertainty and likelihood of job terms change. Hope was the only appropriate intervention that could be used for discrepancy of work ambiguity and work engagement.

Incorporation of both communication competencies and good personality traits will have better tour outcomes in the sector.

    There is need to use the findings of this research to bring about specialization in the hospitality industry. In addition, the findings can inform initiation of programs that give hope to the workers through positive engagement. The findings of the second article can be used in planning of training programmes which will equip the workers with necessary skills; such as communication competencies and acceptable personality traits.
