Choice of research paper/ presentation project: Leadership
Research Paper and PowerPoint Presentation (20%)
Students will submit a 5 to 6 page research paper and create a PowerPoint presentation with 7-10 slides.
Research Paper
Paper will follow APA 6th edition formatting which consist of the following:
· Arial or Times Roman
· 12-font
· Title and Reference page
· 5 -6 Double-spaced pages; not including the Title and Reference pages
· Number your pages
· Include Scholarly Sub-headings to help the reader follow your thought patterns
· Include a minimum of one In-text citation to support the need for your References
· Present 4-6 Scholarly References (no Wikipedia) used to write your Research Paper
· NO NEED FOR AN ABSTRACT
Presentation
· Your PowerPoint Presentation should be a scholarly Reflection of your Research Paper
· Present a minimum of 7 but no more than 10 slides
· Fonts on each slide should be a minimum of 32 font
· Place 5 to 7 bullet points on each slide
· Place large paragraphs of information in the speaker notes section of each slide instead of on the actual slide
· Each slide must contain an image which offers insight to the material on the slide
· Make sure you include a Title Slide: Your name, The Topic of your Project, The Date, The Course, and the Instructor’s Name
· Font on the Reference Slide can be 18 font or higher to help ensure all the References fit on the actual Reference slide
· Please Do Not repeat points
· Consider referring back to your Exploration exercise in Module One(1) to help ignite your thoughts while preparing your paper and presentation
